  • Regular size (1″-6″) Hour and Minute hands are sold separately as a pair above (please see pictures).
  • Will not run hands larger than 12″ (measurement is from the center of the mounting hole to the end of the minute hand only).
  • If you want to run a single hook wood stick pendulum with a larger bob we recommend our German Chime Movement (MPC-320). We recommend our empty pendulum case (code#MCA-25) or our Heavy Duty Pendulum Drive Mechanism (code#MPD-80) if your are running a larger fancy Lyre pendulum. Please be aware that this movement cannot run the larger wood stick pendulums or Lyre pendulums used on Grandfather and Grandmother floor clocks. The bob should be no more than 4.5″-5″ in diameter. This movement can run up to a 29″ pendulum with a light weight metal rod and bob. The rod is perforated every 1″ on the back so you can bend and snap it to the length you need before sliding on the bob.
  • Includes a 16″ adjustable pendulum rod and your choice of a 2-1/8″, 2-3/4″, or 3-1/2″ bob.
  • Choose from 4 Shaft Lengths: Extra Small – 5/16″ threaded length, 5/8″ overall | Small – 7/16″ threaded length, 3/4″ overall | Long – 11/16″ threaded length, 1″ overall | Extra Long – 15/16″ threaded length, 1-1/4″ overall.
  • No volume control knob but sound can be amplified by attaching a tube (paper towel roll, etc) to the end with the speaker.
  • Please be aware that if you mount this inside a solid wood clock case the volume may be too low to hear. Great for mounting on the back of a clock that is open.

Turn this screw as needed and wait until the next hour is played to see if you have made enough or to much of an adjustment. This is a quality movement, made by Takane. Each one of these indicators around this screw corresponds to one minute of error. If not, there is a white final adjustment slotted screw on the back of the movement that will enable you to make this adjustment. Check to be sure that the chime melody is being played on the hour.

  • Let the movement run for an hour or two.

Press the hour hand on the hour hand shaft in the position indicated by the number of hours just counted.Count the number of hours counted after the chime melody has just been counted.
